CollnCilmernber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #04-11 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF COUNCIL CONTINGENCY <br />FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF WORKSTATIONS <br />AND FLAT FILES AT CITY HALL <br />WHEREAS, several new positions have been authorized that will office out of <br />City Hall; and <br />WHEREAS, additional workstations are required to provide work space for these <br />staff members; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering Department requires additional flat file storage for <br />storage of plans; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has solicited a proposal from Intereum Inc., the metro area <br />Herman Miller dealer, for workstations and files to be purchased from the U of M State <br />Contract. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of Council <br />Contingency funds in an amount not to exceed $15,500 for the purchase <br />workstations and flat files for City Hall. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Collncilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 9th day of November 2004. <br />
