Council Member <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE <br />A HUMAN RESOURCES TECHNICIAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, approximately 40 applications were received for the position <br />and ten applicants were interviewed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that the selected candidate be hired for <br />the Human Resources Technician position. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Hire the selected candidate as a Human Resources Technician at an hourly <br />wage not to exceed $17.69 contingent upon satisfactory criminal and driver's <br />license background checks, reference checks, and passing a pre-employment <br />physical and drug screen. The selected candidate's start date will be on or near <br />December 8, 2004. All other personnel polices will apply normally. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of November, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
