As you know, these initial funds will be used to develop conceptual designs and
preliminary layouts for access improvements in the portion of the TH10 corridor
between the Ramsey city limits to the east, and Alpine Drive to the west - with particular
emphasis and focus on the TH10/Ramsey Boulevard intersection. The City plans to
submit a request for FY'05 funds that would take us through the necessary next steps
including scoping and environmental documentation.

Our partnership with Mn/DOT and other local agencies on plans and projects relative to
TH10 thus far has proven successful and valuable, and we look forward to continuing
these collaborative efforts with you to maximize our resources as well as opportunities.
I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your consideration and support on
this next phase of work. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments
directly at 763.433.9845.

Sincerely,

James E.
