CASE <br /> <br />1991 PARKS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET <br /> By: Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As.w~ discussed last month, the budget process for 1991 is underway <br />with initial reviews scheduled in the first week of July, 1990. <br />Attached is a revised proposed budget for 1991 to be used as a <br />working document at your meeting. Since the entire amount would <br />not be funded, the Parks Commission will need to prioritize <br />projects for the coming year. A possible priority ranking for <br />discussion purposes only is included. <br /> <br />Also attached is an update on expenditures and Central Park which <br />indicates that the City has expended approximately $634,000 on <br />Central Park Development through 1990. Based on expenditures to <br />date, approximately $4~,000/year should be budgeted in 1991 and <br />1992 for Central Park development. <br /> <br />An updated five year CIP is also included in the agenda. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />That the Park Commission review and consider the proposed parks <br />improvement program for 1991 and that projects be prioritized. <br /> <br />commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend to the City Council a 1991 parks capital improvements <br />program and budget of $ (based on your discussions) and <br />a five year CIP. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />city Administrator X <br />city Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Community Development Dir.
