The fencingis Proposed to be 5'-6' in height and will be constructed of 14 gauge welded wire <br />with a 2"x4" mesh. The Horse Care Commission has recommended approval of the conditional <br />use permit for horses contingent upon the fencing being that which was proposed by the applicant. <br /> <br />The accesso~ structure proposed to be constructed measures 1,200 square feet. This, in addition <br />to the size of~the attached garage on the property, is in compliance with the total accessory structure <br />area allowedion a 2.3 acre parcel. The building will be used to house the horses and horse related <br />equipment and supplies, personal equipment, and business supplies (Mr. Weinmann is a self- <br />employed fldoring contractor). The Horse Care Commission has indicated that providing housing <br />for the animitl in this structure is more than adequate. Their original building plans were for a <br />building with a height of 26 feet; the maximum height allowed by code is 22 feet; the Weinmanns <br />have agreed to revise the building plans in order to comply with the 22 foot height limit. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Horse Care Board recommends approval of the request to maintain horses on the property. <br />City Staff recOmmends denial of the request for a metal accessory structure. <br /> <br />commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that the City Council adopt the findings of fact relating to K.
