to place a full counter at the mid section of the main entrance, what they would be giving up would be about $2,000 so they could look at that option in the future. Councihnember Hendriksen stated that for the $10,000 that is being proposed in counter renovation they could construct the counter across the entire corridor and add a significant amount of work space. City Administrator Norman stated that if the Council wanted to bring that proposal back, staff would do so. Councilmember Kurak stated that she was against delaying the project again especially if the project does not prechtde what Mr. Hendriksen suggested. Councilmember Hendriksen recommended proceeding with the room for file storage, reducing the size of the conference room, and relocating the offices, and then come back and re-addresses the issue of the front counter and its reorganization. Mayor Gamec recommended that staff place the issue on the Council agenda for action. Councihnember Kurak requested that a quote be included for new carpet when it is presented for formal action. Mayor Gamec requested that they look as a separate issue the fixing of the basement ceiling. Councihnember Anderson inquired if it was true that no changes to the heating and ventilation system will occur with the proposed modeling project. Ms. Boddinger replied that was correct. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he questions if there is any heating changes that would need to occur if they utilize the area upstairs. Mayor Gamec requested that the issue be placed on the Council agenda for action. Councilmember Hendriksen replied that a consensus had not been reached regarding the issue and, therefore, it should not be added as a Council agenda item.
