Steffen, Administrative Consultant Urban Planning District Study Report -- Amendments Recommended to Conform Report to Planning Commission Actions Between March 15, 1976 and June 10, 1977. This memorandum is intended to provide amendments to be made to the above referenced report pursuant to discussions and actions by the Planning Commission in meetings which have been held since the Urban Planning District Study Report was initially issued and transmitted to the City Council for review by the Metropolitan Council and other interested agencies. All of the proposed recommendations for change have been discussed by the Planning Commission in the meetings which have been held subsequent to May 5, 1977. The amendments are of three distinct types: 1. Changes in development policy pursuant to discussions of the Planning Commission. 2. Changes or additions in the text material necessary to reflect changes in policy as'outlined in Item #1 above. 3. Updating with respect to data available and changes which have occurred since the report was issued on March 15, 1976. It is our recommendation that the study report be finally issued as revised pursuant to these recommendations following the public hearing which has been scheduled for June 30, 1977. If this format is used, the final revised report can reflect changes which the Planning Commission and/or the City Council believe are appropriate following the public input at the hearing.
