Planning documents produced since that time have been oriented to the "FacJlities" aspects of community development. A Trans- portation Pla.~ (Dec., 71) and a "Northtown Corridor Study" (July, 73) have updated the transportation element. Other plans or studies recently completed or u.q:te.'-way include Housing, Storm Drainage, Sanitary Sewe% Growth and Development, Financial Analysis, etc. Comprehensive Policy Plan. The Plan will generally consist of revising and updating the 1970 Plan w?th emphasis on those areas that have not been reviewed recently. Land Use, Open-Space and Parks, and Community Facilities will be emphasized. Products for RAMSFY All planning efforts in Ramsey have occurred since 1973 when the first Comprehensive Plan was Formulated For the township. A zoning ordinance was adopted to help implement the Plan. Since its incorporation in November 1974, other planning studies have been prepared including a platting ordinance, a Comprehensive Sewer Plan, an Urban Planning District study, a zoning ordinance which would implement the Urban Planning District Study, and a Comprehensive Park Plan. The Urban Planning District Study and the Park PIc~ are under review by the Metropolitan Council Staff at this time. Comprehensive Policy Plan. As the plans for Ramsey have recently been prepared, only those elements would be addressed that are required by the 1976 Metropolitan Land Plahning Act and are not included in the previous reports or that are required in the Critical Areas legislation. Most significant of these would be more specific Policy definition in all areas of planning, a Housing element, Resources and Critical Areas, Rum River Man- agement Plan, with Implementation amendments, and a Capital Improvements Program.
