In rear yards: Recreational and laundry <br />drying equipment, arbors and trellises, <br />balconies, breezeways, open porches, <br />detached outdoor, living rooms and private <br />garages providing a'set-back of five (5) <br />feet, or the depth of any existing easements, <br />whichever is greater, is maintained. <br /> <br />Height limitations shall not apply to radio <br />and TV transmission towers, barns, silos, <br />and other structures on farms, to church <br />spires, belfries, cupolas and domes; monuments; <br />water towers; fire and hose towers; observation <br />towers; chimneys and smokestacks; flag poles; <br />telephone poles; television antennae, and <br />parapet walls extending not more than four <br />(4) feet above the limiting height of the <br />building. <br /> <br />(D) No lot, yard or parking area shall be so reduced in <br />area or dimension as to make any such area or dimension <br />less than the minimum required by this Ordinance, and if <br />already less than the minimum required, it shall no't be <br />further reduced. <br /> <br />(E) The performance standards established in this <br />section are designed _to encourage a high standard <br />of residential and business development by providing <br />assurance that neighboring land uses xvill be compatible. <br />The performance standards are also designed to prevent <br />and eliminate those conditions that cause blight. <br />Ail future development in the "U" Districts shall be <br />required to meet these standards. The standards shall <br />also apply to existing development where so stated. <br />The zoning officer shall be responsible for enforcing <br />the standards. <br /> <br /> i. In the UR and UER Districts, all mater'ials and.equip- <br /> ment shall.be,stOred within a building or. fully <br /> screened (So as to not be visible) from adjoining <br /> properties, except for the following: laundry <br /> drying and recreational equipment, construction <br /> and landscaping materials and equipment <br /> currently being used on the premises, agri- <br /> cultural equipment and materials if these <br /> are used ~or intended for use on the premises, <br /> off-street parking of passenger automobiles <br /> and pick-up trucks.
