In the "U" Districts, any lighting used to illuminate an off- <br />street parking area or sign shall be arranged so as to deflect <br />light away from any adjoining residential zone or from the public <br />streets. Direct or sky reflected glare, whether from floodlights <br />or from high temperature processes such as combustion or welding <br />shall not be directed into any adjoining'property. <br /> <br />(c) 1. <br /> <br />Surfacing or Drainage: Off-street parking areas shall <br />be paved with a durable and dustless surface in conformance <br />with City Engineering standards. Such area shall be so <br />graded and drained as 'to dispose of all surface water <br />accumulation satisfactorily. These requirements shall <br />also apply to open sales lots for cars, trucks and other <br />equipment. <br /> <br />Location: all accessory off-street parking facilities <br />required herein shall be located as follows: <br /> <br />Spaces accessory to one and two-family dwellings- <br />on the same lot as the principal use served. <br /> <br />Spaces accessory to multiple-family dwellings on <br />ihe same lot as the principal use served. <br /> <br />c. Spaces accessory to uses located in a Business <br /> District; within 800 feet of a main entrance to the <br /> principal building served. <br /> <br />d. There shall be no off-street parking spaces within <br /> three (3) feet of any-~street right-of-way. <br /> <br />3. Access: All off-street Parking spaces shall have access <br /> off driveways and not direc-tly off the public street. <br /> <br />4. Determination of Areas: ~.A Parking space Shall not be <br /> less than 300 square feet of Standing and maneuvering <br /> area. When application of these regulations results in <br /> a reqUirement of a fractional space~ any fraction up to <br /> and including one-half shall be disregarded. Fractions <br /> , over one-half shall count as one additional space. <br /> <br />Truck Parking in Residential Areas: No more than one <br />1-ton motor vehicle bearing a commercial license and no <br />commercially licensed trailer shall be parked or stored <br />in a platted residential district except when loading, <br />unloading or rendering a service. No ~commercial vehicle <br />shall be parked or stored in a platted residential district <br />except for short te~m parking (two hours or less) except <br />when loading, unloading or rendering a service. <br /> <br />No outside storage of a recreational vehicle, mobile camping <br />trailer or any other such type recreational unit which <br />exceeds twenty (20) feet in length shall be permitted on a <br />lot which is less than one acre in size. <br /> <br />-32~ <br /> <br /> <br />
