5.10 <br /> <br />6.1 <br /> <br />6.2 <br /> <br />Air Pollution: (Fly ash, dust, fumes, vapors, gasses, <br />etc.): Any emission which can cause any damage to health, <br />animals or vegetation, or other fogms of property, or <br />which can cause any excessive soiling at any ooint, and <br />in no event any emission of any solid or liquid particles <br />in concentrations exceeding 0.3 grains per cubic foot of <br />the conveying gas or air at any point. For measurement <br />of the amount of particles in gasses resulting from <br />combustion, standard corrections shall be applied to a <br />stick temperature of five hundred (500) Fahrenheit and <br />fifty (50%) percent excess air. <br /> <br />Wastes: <br /> <br />a. AI~ wastes shalI be disposed of in a manner.that is <br /> not dangerous to public health and safety and in <br /> accordance with the city's sewer disposal system <br /> ordinance. <br /> <br />Wastes may not accumulate on the site, except where <br />fully screened from adjacent properties. <br /> <br />Wastes discharged into a public sewer system Shall <br />not exceed limits established by the Metropolitan <br />Waste Control Commission· <br /> <br />SIGNS: Signs in all "U" Districts shall be limited to those <br />permitted by the City Council as shown on the approved site plan. <br /> <br />SECTION 6 - CONDITIONAL USES <br /> <br />PURPOSE: The purpose of this section is to provide the City of <br />Ramsey with a reasonable degree of discretion in determining the <br />suitability of certain designated uses upon the general welfare, <br />public health and safety. A conditional use is a use which <br />because of certain characteristics, cannot be properly classified <br />as a permitted use in the zoning district within which it is <br />proposed. Conditional use permits are designed to meet the <br />problem which arises where certain uses, although generally <br />compatible with the basic use classification of a particular <br />zone, should not be permitted to be located as a matter of right <br />in every area included within the zone because of hazards <br />inherent in the use itself or special problems which its <br />proposed location may present. <br /> <br />APPLICATION: Applications for conditional uses shall be filed- <br />with the zoning officer'and shall be accompanied by: <br /> <br />(A) An application fee in an amount equal to that set <br />by resolution of the City Council <br /> <br />-35- <br /> <br /> <br />
