Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Couneilmember Kurak, to approve the
agenda adding Case #6a and changing the wording in consent agenda #9 to read Ramsey Event
Promotions, Inc. a non-profit organization.

Further discussion: City Attorney Goodrich noted that staff received a letter dated March 8,
2002, fi'om Mr. Kurak regarding Case #6, pertaining to the land use change requested for the 117
acre parcel north and south of Sunwood Drive. He explained that the letter stated that meetings
were being scheduled with concerned neighbors and it authorized the extension of the 60-day
rule. Mr. Goodrich noted that he spoke with Mr. Kurak to verify that it indeed was his letter and
Mr. Kurak confirmed that it was. Mayor Gamec inquired if they needed to make a motion to
table action for Case #6. Councilmember Hendriksen felt that some discussion needed to occur
regarding the Case so he did not feel it was appropriate to remove the Case from the agenda. If
after the discussion takes place the Council feels it would be appropriate to table action, they can
do so. Lance Ragor, 6194 - 146th Avenue NW, Ramsey, inquired if the Council was going to
discuss Case #6. City Attorney Goodrich replied that they would discuss the issue under Case
#6.

Motion carried.
