Ms. Lind inquired if another sealcoat was being done on the road, because the road was just <br />recently sealcoated. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that the street is scheduled for a sealcoat, but will verify that <br />information. <br /> <br />Mr. Kelsey inquired as to when the City will be going out for bids on the projects. <br /> <br />City iEngineer Jankowski replied at the end of May and then they will be awarding the contract in <br />June. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the Council received a written statement from Ben Deemer, 14501 <br />Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW, Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Zimmennan, <br />Hendriksen, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />There was no Council action required. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request for Final Plat Approval of River Pines 5th Addition; Case of <br /> Oakwood Land Development, Inc. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that Oakwood Land Development had submitted a final plat to <br />the City for a subdivision to be named River Pines 5"' Addition. The property is located on the <br />west side of T.H. #47, immediately north of the existing Apple Ridge/River Pines neighborhood. <br />The Comprehensive Plan adopted on December 18, 2001, expanded the Metropolitan Urban <br />Service Area (MUSA) to include the property proposed to be developed as River Pines 5~' <br />Addition. On January 22, 2002, the City Council approved the preliminary plat for River Pines <br />5"' and adopted an ordinance to rezone the property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban <br />Residential. The plat area is 9.7 acres. The final plat proposes to plat 17 lots and one existing <br />homestead for a total of 18 single family lots. The 18 lots will receive public access from the <br />existing 158th Avenue, an extension of 158th Lane into the plat from River Pines 2nd Addition to <br />the west, the extension of Lithium Street from Apple Ridge to the south, and the construction of <br />158"' Court extending west off of Lithium Street. Per MnDOT's comments, the development <br />agreement will require closure of the existing driveways on T.H. #47 and converting the access <br /> <br />City Council/March 12, 2002 <br /> Page 7 of 23 <br /> <br /> <br />
