-4- <br /> <br />Public Facilities Plan <br /> <br />Transportation Plan (none currently prepared; see Plan Content Guidelines <br />and the section of Transportation Policy Plan called "Relation of Policy <br />Plan to Local Plans" for detailed guidelines). <br /> <br />A transportation plan should be prepared describing the location, <br />function and capacity of existing and proposed roads. A general <br />schedule for new transportation facilities should also be provided. <br /> <br />To assist the Metropolitan Council determine the compatibility of <br />gamsey's future road system with the metropolitan highway system, the <br />following should be included in the transportation plan. Specific <br />questions should be directed to Connie Kozlak, 291-6346. <br /> <br />Estimates of the amounts of traffic to be generated by the proposed <br />land uses aggregated by Metropolitan Council traffic assignment <br />zones (TAZ). Information on the location of these zones in <br />Ramsey and the Metropolitan Council forecasts for them may be <br />obtained from Connie KoZlak or Jane Pinchot, 291-6345. <br /> <br />Maps of existing and proposed roads showing functional classifi- <br />cation (consistent with the Metropolitan Council functional <br />classification system), existing and projected traffic volumes for <br />roads classified minor arterial and above, proposed bicycle and <br />pedestrian systems and any desired transit service. <br /> <br />Detailed land use and traffic circulation plans for areas within <br />~ mile of local intersections with Highway 10. <br /> <br />b. Comprehensive Sewer Plan (Comprehensive Sewer Plan) <br /> <br />To meet Comprehensive Sewer Policy Plan content requirements expected <br />to be adopted as part of the Metropolitan Council's 208 Areawide Plan/ <br />Development Guide for Water Quality Management, the following addi- <br />tional information should be included in the existing Ramscy Compre- <br />hensive Sewer Plan. Specific questions should be directed to John <br />Harrington, 291-6324. <br /> <br />- Desired timing (and justification) for metropolitan sewer service <br /> from the west leg of the Anoka segment of the CAB interceptor. <br /> <br />- Desired timing (and justification) for the second Ramsey connection <br /> of the Anoka segment of the CAB interceptor. <br /> <br />- Map showing sewer service areas and the timing of local sewer <br /> service to them through 1990. <br /> <br />Any proposals for joint use of sewage facilities with other com- <br />munities (e.g., use of the Anoka forcemain for interim service <br />through the Anoka plant for portions of Ramsey along Highway 10). <br /> <br />- Description of any privately owned treatment facilities (.e.g., <br /> mobile home park plants, etc.). <br /> <br /> <br />
