CASE#5~ <br /> <br />RESCIND RESOLUTION #88-220 GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL TO BULOW'S ADDITION <br />REQUEST FOR GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR BULOW'S ADDITION <br /> INCLUDING EQB MINIMUM 30 FOOT RIVER TRAIL CORRIDOR <br /> By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Art Bulow is proposing a subdivision on the property located South of Highway 10 Northwest <br />and East of the proposed extension of Sunfish Lake Boulevard Northwest. Said property is a lot <br />of record that was split into 2 by the extension of Front Street. Mr. Bulow is proposing a minor <br />subdivision to create one lot North of Front Street and split the remainder of the parcel South of <br />Front Street into 2 lots. <br /> <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br /> <br />F_ <br /> <br />Proposed final plat. <br />Resolution #88-220 <br />EQB letter dated December 6, 1988 (see case #~r) <br />Anoka County Department of Parks and Recreation letter dated <br />November 28, 1988 (see case #.~) <br />Proposed resolution (will be available at meeting) <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met on November 1, 1988, and recommended approval of <br />the minor subdivision contingent on DNR and EQB approval of Ramsey's proposed amendment to <br />the Critical Rivers Corridor Ordinance. The Parks and Recreation Commission met on October <br />20, 1988, and recommended acquisition of the thirty-five (35) foot easement for the future <br />Mississippi multi-use trail system to satisfy the City's park dedication requirement. Mr. <br />Bulow is also in the process of requesting re-zoning of two of the two Southern lots from B-1 <br />Business to R-1U Residential. On November 15, 1988, the City Council approved resolution <br />#88-220, granting final plat approval for Bulow's Addition with a number of contingencies. <br />These contingencies were as follows: <br /> <br />A. Providing proof of marketable title for the property to the City. <br /> <br />Providing park dedication in accordance with the City Code in effect at the time of <br />the plat approval and to consist of land dedication of three (3) feet of additional <br />right-of-way along the South side of Front Street Northwest and the remainder of <br />park dedication to be fulfilled by cash payment. <br /> <br />Providing a ten (10) foot easement on the Westerly lot South of Front Street <br />Northwest. <br /> <br />Proceeding to re-zone the two Southern parcels from B-1 Business to R-1U <br />Urban Residential. <br /> <br /> <br />
