Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BENEFITS CONTRACTS FOR 2005 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is committed to attracting and retaining quality <br />employees to serve the community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, competitively priced benefits are essential to effectively compete <br />for quality employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that for 2005 the City offer health, dental, life <br />insurance, EAP and flexible spending benefits through Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta <br />Dental, Standard Life Insurance, T.E.A.M. and Passport, respectively. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes staff to enter into a one <br />year contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, Standard Life Insurance, <br />T.E.A.M. and Passport for 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councihnember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14th day of December, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
