Councilnmmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A COLA FOR <br />NON-UNION EMPLOYEES FOR 2005 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is committed to attracting and retaining quality <br />employees to serve the community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, maintaining a competitive pay scale is essential to effectively <br />compete for quality employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that for 2005 the City Council adopt the same 3% <br />COLA for regular, non-union employees that has been approved for AFSCME and <br />LELS-Patrol members. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopts a 3% COLA for 2005 for <br />regular, non-union employees effective January 1, 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the follOwing were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14th day of December, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
