Further discussion: Councilmember Anderson stated her reluctance to consider this ordinance. <br />However, it has been said for several years that something would happen if they couldn't obey <br />the rules. Mayor Gamec stated he is also reluctant but feels it is needed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License Renewal <br /> <br />It was noted that applications for renewal of the following licenses have been received and are <br />deemed to be in order: <br /> <br />#02-01 <br />#02-02 <br />#02-03 <br /> <br />Bill's Superette <br />Oasis Market #535 <br />SuperAmerica #4508 <br /> <br />15299 St. Francis Boulevard NW <br />14550 Armstrong Boulevard NW <br />14000 St. Francis Boulevard NW <br /> <br />It was noted that Staff has not yet received paperwork to renew the license for Ramsey Amoco, <br />therefore, Council is not being asked at this time to approve their license. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to approve 3.2 <br />percent malt liquor license renewals for Bill's Superette, Oasis Market #535, and SuperAmerica <br />#4508, for the 2002 - 2003 license year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson, <br />Hendriksen, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Approval of Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor, On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor, Off- <br />Sale 3.2 Liquor and Sunday Sales, and Wine <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman advised that staff did receive paperwork to renew the liquor license <br />for Fairways on the Rum Inc. d/b/a McDuff's Eatery & Pub, therefore, Council is also being <br />asked at this time to approve their license. <br /> <br />It was noted that applications for renewal of the following liquor licenses have been properly <br />applied for: <br /> <br />City Council/June 11, 2002 <br /> Page 8 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
