She noted one requirement is that there is an affordable housing component to this <br />that must be met. She is not sure how that meshes with the affordability. She stated having said <br />all of this; she thinks this is a great:idea. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Resolution #04- <br />11-337 and 04-11-338 authorizing the City to apply for grant funds for the environmental <br />cleanup of the St. Anthony Gun Club fi.om the Minnesota Department of EmploYment and <br />Economic Development and the Metropolitan Council contingent upon an agreement with <br />Oakwood Land Development to fund the local share, and contingent on the following: <br />determining that the owner of the property has signed off, that the affordability requirements of <br />the grant have been addressed, and that the City does not hold any liability for any contamination <br />on the site. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Kurak requested the information regarding the <br />Contingencies be included in the weekly update. She aSked if another application will need to be <br />submitted. City Engineer Jankowski replied the' deadline was November 1st, and an extension <br />was granted. Staff indicated that the reSolutiOn was forthcoming. He indicated he will ask for a <br />reVised application and will put it on the next Consent Agenda. Assistant Public works Director <br />Olson suggested the information be included in the weekly uPdate, rather than the Consent <br />Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #7: Adopt Ordinance to Amend R-1 Residential District Regulations; Case of <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised this is the second reading of an ordinance <br />introduced on October 26, 2004 to comPlete housekeeping items amending the R-1 Residential <br />District r%mlations.
