City Engineer Jankowski stated that what was identified in yellow would need to be graded in <br />order to construct the road and utilities. He stated on Mr. Ingles' side of the street there would be <br />no grading beyond the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Mr. Ingles asked how much elevation would be put in. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated in most places it would be nine feet but in other places it would <br />be eleven feet. <br /> <br />Mr. Ingles asked what they were planning on doing with Lot 2. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski described the proposed house pad on the drawing. <br /> <br />Mr. Ingles asked how close this house would be to the wetland. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated it would be an 8-foot walkout in the back. <br /> <br />Mr. Ingles asked if this was where they were going to put in the eleven feet of fill. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated this was true. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated this was already discussed. <br /> <br />Mr. Ingles stated there were bad decisions regarding this in the past and some of the Council <br />seems unsure of this plan. He stated that if the Council had any doubt, he did not think anyone <br />should railroad his or her decision. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated he had not voted for any of these processes. <br /> <br />Mr. Ingles stated that if they let these things go on, they would see what happens when you let a <br />developer in. He stated the Council could stop it now, and not let it happen again. He stated the <br />City is known for its trees. <br /> <br />Councihnember Hendriksen asked if they would be filling up to the edge of the property line <br />substantially and how would they protect the adjoining property owner. <br /> <br />Dave Putnam, civil engineer for Midwest Land Surveyors, stated Lot 1 would be developed <br />along with Lot 2. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen asked if they were going to go beyond the yellow area in terms of <br />filling. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated Lot 1 is a custom graded lot. <br /> <br />City Council/June 25, 2002 <br />Page 15 of 34 <br /> <br /> <br />
