Council Member <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> REsoLUTION # <br /> <br />CONSIDER RATIFICATION OF THE HIRING <br /> OF PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the 2005 budget, Council authorized the addition of two <br />patrol officer positions, and ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, one Patrol Offic6r position was filled in October of 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at their regular meeting of December 14th, City Council authorized <br />the recruitment of 2005 positions and ithe hiring of a Patrol Officer from an existing <br />e ligibi l ity list, with ratification at the first regular meeting in January. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recmUmendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Ratify the hiring of James BOnine as alPatrol Officer at an hourly wage of $19.05 based <br />upon successful completion of criminal anddriver's license background checks, reference <br />chccks, passing a pre-employment physical, drug screen, physical agility test and a <br />psychological examination. Mr. Bonine's official start date was January 3, 2005.
