Councihnember <br /> <br />introduced the fOllOWing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REASSIGNMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />LEADWORKER POSITION iAND PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />POSITION TO THE UTILITIES DIVISION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the 2005 budget process, staff discussed with Council the re- <br />organization of the Public Works Department to three divisions of Parks, Utilities, and <br />Streets; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the re-assignmen~t of two existing positions to the Utilities Division <br />represents the first step in that procesS; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has revised job descriptions for the three divisions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an internal recruitment was conducted, ttn'ee applications were <br />received and interviews were condUcfed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no pay scale adjustments are recommended for these reassignments. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEy, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1 ) That the City Council of the citY of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to reassign John Nelson to the position of Public Works <br /> Utilities Leadworker and Jerome Dube to the position of Public Works Utilities <br /> Maintenance Worker effective 0t/12/2005. No pay scale adjustments are <br /> recommended. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the:adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councihnember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: ~ <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the £ollowing abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declarqd duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 11 th day of January 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
