Councilmember Kurak thanked Ms. Pomeroy for providing this information. She asked who to <br />address on a staff level to notify residents if surveying will be going on. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested that topic be raised at a Work Session. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to take a position that the <br />City Council has no interest in forcing residents on 155th Lane to connect at this time. <br /> <br />Further discussion: City Engineer Olson stated this was an informational item that came from <br />the public informational meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson, <br />Hendriksen, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he received comments from residents in support of staff's work on this <br />issue. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adopt Resolution <br />#0%02-172 granting final plat approval to Evergreen Point contingent upon compliance with the <br />City Staff Review Letter dated July 18, 2002, and the developer entering into a development <br />agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councitmember Anderson stated the list of things that needs to be done <br />appeared to be very lengthy. City Engineer Olson stated staff is attempting to list all items to <br />assure the information is received up front and allow staff comment prior to considering final <br />plat approval. He stated if the items are not resolved, final plat approval will not be <br />recommended. Councihnember Kurak commented on the importance to maintain the integrity of <br />property not being developed and property to be developed due to the grade change. City <br />Engineer Olson stated that was a concern with the Wildlife Sanctuary 2nd Addition, not this one. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak and Anderson. Voting No: <br />Councilmembers Hendriksen and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman stated he voted no because he does not agree with this great of <br />density at seven units per acre. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he believes the lack of parking availability is an issue that <br />will have to be addressed if the Council continues with the policy going now. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Review of Wildlife Sanctuary 2nd Additions; <br />Case of Oakwood Land Development <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald reviewed that the City Council discussed preliminary plat proposals for <br />Wildlife Sanctuary 2''d Addition and Wildlife Sanctuary 3~d Addition on May 28, 2002. <br /> <br />City Council/July 23, 2002 <br />Page 13 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
