2) <br /> <br />Receive Information About Resignation of Full-Time Accounting Clerk and <br />Authorize Hiring of Full-Time Accounting Clerk. <br />Councilmen~ber Anderson presented the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to <br />adopt Resolution #02-07-180 accepting Nancy Hinrich's resignation from the position of <br />accounting Clerk effective August 2, 2002, and authorize staff to fill the Accounting <br />Clerk position, with ratification occurring at the August 13, 2002, regular City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Personnel Committee for Cases 1 and 2. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councihnember Hendriksen asked when the Personnel Committee will be meeting on the item <br />raised during Citizen Input. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated the next Personnel Committee meeting is scheduled <br />to take place prior to the next regular Council meeting which is August 13, 2002. <br /> <br />Councihnember Anderson stated that before it is considered by the Personnel Committee, she <br />would like to see the video tape of the meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted Councilmember Anderson is the Chair of the Personnel Committee and <br />asked her to work out the date with Assistant City Administrator Nelson. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated it was indicated earlier tonight that it would be considered at <br />the next Personnel Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated she would like the bulk of the discussion to occur at a Work <br />Session and not have lengthy portions of the City Council meeting devoted to this type of <br />discussion which is not good public policy meetings especially at this time of year. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated she was at the meeting and does not need to watch the meeting <br />video tape. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Schedule City Council Work Session <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reviewed the upcoming meeting dates and need to set a Work <br />Session date to discuss the budget as well as other issues. <br /> <br />City Council/July 23, 2002 <br />Page 27 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
