Councilmember Zimmerman stated that for what the City paid for the site, he was wondering if <br />the City should just keep it. <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson stated he could look at where the subdivision would go and how the cul-de- <br />sac would be located. He explained that the action tonight is to vacate the easement between the <br />two Public Works facilities. A future Council action would be needed to split the parcels. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:43 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:43 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Iuput <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Hendriksen, Anderson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:44 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:44 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to approve <br />introduction of an ordinance vacating these segments of City streets and preserving them as <br />drainage and utility easements and direct the City Attorney to research and advise the Council on <br />ultimate disposition of the land associated with the street vacations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Zimmerman.
