PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS This project anticipates the extension of an eight inch sanitary sewer ~iorth along the centerline of Ebony Street a distance of 400 feet. This extension will provi, de sewer availability to the following properties: · Parcel D (2 lateral stulss) · Parcel E (1 additional stub) ~ . · Parcel H(1 stub) · Parcel G (2 stubs for multifamity) .. Sewer will not be extended further north: down Ebony Street as a part of this project, since the parcel to the north are presently d~veloped and have existing sewer service. In addition an eiglxt inch watermain will be connected the entire length of Ebony Street between t37~1~ Avenue and Riverdale Drive, a distance of l l00 feet. One inch water service stubs will be provided at each of the above sanitary sewer service locations with the exception of Parcel G Which Shall be provided with a suitable sized service to accommodate the multifamily unit 15roposed.(This parcel is currently zoned Commercial and would need to be rezoned to accommodate the owners desired land use). The portion of the street throu~ which sanitary sewer is to be extended is anticipated to impact nearly tl~e entire roadway. Consequently the street in this section will be reconstructed 32 feet wide with a pavement section consisting of four inches of class 5 base, two inches of bituminous base' course and 1.5 inches of bituminous wear course. Only one half of the pavement will be removed through the northerly segment of the roadway where tl~e eight inch wate~ ~rmain is to be extended. Through this section of the roadway the west half will be reconstructed to the above specifications while the east half will receive a 1.5 inch bituminous overlay over the remaining pavement. Concrete curb and gutter wii1 be installed on both curblines. The width of the street Will be reduced from 318 feet to 32 feeh and since there is ex!sting s~otTn sewer framing down the western curbline and the east curb:line move six feet westward and the west curbline remain in its existing location. This adjustment will result in the relocation of the centerline of the street three feet wesL No changes to the existing stoy-m Sewer System are proposed. However, if the project proceeds the condition of the existing StOrm sewer structures will be inspected. Deteriorated structures will be repaired or replaced with funding from the City's storm water utility. All disturbed turfed areas will be replaced with four inches of topsoil and sod. Any disturbed driveways shall be neatly sawCut and replaced with like materials and cross sections. 2
