Case #19: Introduction of an Ordinance AUthorizing the Sale of the North 200 feet of <br /> the South 233 feet of the West. 200 feet of the East 1146 feet of the South Half <br /> of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br /> County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised the City haS a Development Agreement with Professional <br />Properties, LLC to acquire and COnstruct a 12,528 square foot office building on the north 200 <br />feet of the south 233 feet of the west 200 feet 'of the east 1146 feet of the south half of the <br />southeast quarter of Section 27, ToWnshiP 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. He <br />explained once this project has been finalized it. is important to have the ability to convey the <br />property to the business in a prompt manner asnot to delay construction. In order to complete <br />this transaction a sale ordinance needs to be introduced and adopted authorizing the sale. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, secOnded by Councilmember Olson, to introduce an ordinance <br />authorizing the sale of the North 200 feet 0fthe SOuth 233 feet of the West 200 feet of the East <br />1146 feet of the South Half of the Southeast Qilarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Olson, Elvig, Jeffi'ey, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #20: <br /> <br />Introduction of an Ordinance AUthorizing the Sale of Part of Lot 1, <br />Auditor's Subdivision No. 30 : <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich indicated the location of this property is the previous Bakestar property, <br />which was acquired by the City; Staff is negotiating a TIF financing agreement with Martin <br />EDM to acquire and construct an office/manufacturing building on this property. Once this <br />project has been finalized it is important to have the ability to convey property to the business in <br />a prompt manner as not to delay construction., In order to complete this transaction a sale <br />ordinance needs to be introduced and adopted authorizing the sale. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to introduce an <br />ordinance authorizing the sale of Part of Lot 1, AUditor's Subdivision No. 30. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, Cook, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #21: Authorize Preparation of EAW for Pulte Homes Project <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson explained Pulte Homes is proposing to develop a large <br />parcel west of Armstrong Boulevard into a mixed neighborhood of single-family homes and <br />townhomes. The site is inside the Urban lServiee Area; however, municipal services have not <br />been extended to the site. The development will require an Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet (EAW) as prescribed by the rules of the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board. <br /> <br />City CounCii/Feb'ruary 22, 2005 <br /> page 28iof 31 <br /> <br /> <br />
