PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Rarnsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 <br />at the Ramsey Fire Station Number ~, 15050Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Chairperson Todd Cook <br /> Councilmember David Jeffrey <br /> CoUncilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works :DireCtor Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None, <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson added Case No. 3: <br />LELS Patrol Members. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as amended. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Health Insurance Contributions for <br /> <br />Case#l: Authorize Appointment of ~Commissioner to Fill Vacancy on Planning <br /> Commission <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson indicated as a result of David Jeffrey's election to City <br />Council, a vacancy was created on the Planning Commission. The position was advertised in the <br />Ramsey Resident, the Anoka Shopper, and the City website. Fourteen letters of interest were <br />received. The top six applicants were offered interviews and five were interviewed. Based on <br />the evaluation panel's results, staff is recommending the appointment of Gary Levine to the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to reconunend that the <br />City Council appoint Gary Levineto the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Personnel <br /> <br />COmmittee/February 22, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
