commercial/industrial development occur, access provisions to 140th Avenue are
available.

Access 48 north should be relabeled as Azurite Street.

In Ramsey, 15 private accesses are recommended for removal, with 10 of these
accesses being between Dysprosium and CR 57.

Six accesses are proposed for removal in Anoka.

The recommended removals represent a 28 percent reduction in the total number
of 74 existing accesses.

Except for County Roads and MSA Streets (Dysprosium and Sunwood) only
Magnesium and the SuperAmerica/Walgreens access would remain as full turning
movement accesses.

The change from full access to right in - right out accesses for Wolfram,
Tungsten, Krypton, Iodine and Germanium will alter traffic patterns in the
residential neighborhood to the north, particularly during the early morning
period.

Action:

The committee may wish to provide additional comments on the draft material to
be relayed back to the consultant, and confirm or delete staff comments. Action
will be based upon discussion.

Reviewed by:

Public Works Director
Principal City Engineer

PW: 03/19/02
