Brian Olson, City of Ramsey <br />February 9, 2005 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />Task 4 -Interconnecting Watermain Between Well No. 8 and Well No. 7 Pump House <br />In this task, we would perform the following major items: 1) provide engineering documents to secure a <br />qualified contractor to install the interconnecting watermams and associated road work and obtain <br />approval from MDH, DNR and other agencies; 2) coordinate and assist the City staff in processing and <br />obtaining all necessary permits; 3) perform bidding services; 4) provide the necessary construction <br />engineering and periodic construction observation services during the construction of the interconnecting <br />watermains along with the associated road work to ensure the facility is constructed a¢¢ordhag to the plans <br />and specifications; 5) coordinate and assist the City in reviewing the watermain/road work contractor <br />payment requests; and 6) coordinate with the watermain/road work contractor to ensure all as-built <br />drawings are provided. <br /> <br />2the costs to perform the tasks described above would be the not-to-exceed amounts presented below: <br /> <br />Task 1 (Conseruction of Test Well) <br />Task 2 (Water Supply Wells and Pump Well No. 7 and No. 8) <br />Task 3 (Well House No. 4) <br />Task 4 (/nterconnect/on of Watermain) <br />Total Estimated Costs <br /> <br />$19,850 <br />$23,000 <br />$23,000 <br />$12,000 <br /> <br />$77,850 <br /> <br />Only the actual costs incurred to perform the work would be billed.
