Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION 6{ <br /> <br /> CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE <br /> A PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the 2005 budget, council authorized the creation of two <br />Public Works Parks Maintenance Worker positions, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, On December 14, 2004 staff received Council authorization to recruit <br />two Public Works Parks Maintenance Workers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff conducted internal and external recruitments; as well as interviews. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RA MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Contirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Grant attthorization to staff to hire Terry Byron, Jr. to the position of Public Works Parks <br />Maintenance Worker at an hourly wage not to exceed $16.51. Terry Byron will begin <br />employment on or after April 27, 2005. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and thc following voted against the same: <br />and the lbllowing abstained: <br />anti thc following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of April, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
