This recruitment is in response to Jim Balabon's retirement, which is <br />cfi'cctive June 30, 2005. Staff has completed the Patrol Officer recruitment that included <br />24 applicants and 10 interviews. Staff recommends hiring Jamy Schwartz for the Patrol <br />Ol'ficcr position. <br /> <br />With (iouncil approval, Mr. Schwartz's appointment is contingent upon successful <br />completion of a criminal background investigation, psychological exam and a pre- <br />employment physical and drug screen. Mr. Schwartz would begin employment on or <br />after May 16, 2005 at an hourly wage of $19.05. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that Jamy Schwartz begin employment with the City of Ramsey as a <br />Patrol Officer on or after May 16, 2005 at an hourly rate of $19.05. Mr. Schwartz's <br />appoi ntment would be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background <br />investigation, psychological exam and a pre-employment physical and drug screen. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Recommend that Jamy Schwartz begin employment with the City of Ramsey as a Patrol <br />Ol'ficcr on or after May 16, 2005 at an hourly rate of $19.05.
