Case #3: Sketch Plan Review for Town Center 7th Addition <br /> <br />Civil Engineer 1I Linton explained Ramsey Town Center, LLC has submitted a sketch plan to <br />develop 152 townhmnes on 12.6 acres in Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />(5gil }ingincer Linton discussed the staff report with the Commission. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked on the western lower half of the map, there is an open space and she <br />wondered i f this was a pocket park. <br /> <br />Civil Engincer l~inton stated it was. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked if this was the only open space. <br /> <br />Civil f'~ngineer Linton stated there may be some in the northeast quadrant also along with <br />parki~g. He stated the Planning Commission discussed this and discussed that there did need to <br />be c(mnectivity through the neighborhood. He noted the Plmming Commission was also worded <br />about oFF street pinking. He explained the Planning Commission had some concerns that needed <br />to be addressed and the developer would come back with changes. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked how large the open space was. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer l,inton stated he did not have numbers to clarify the size. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ostrum stated it looked like there had been a lot of cuts in the park area in the <br /> <br />I11 [l <br /> <br />Chai FpeFson Johns thought they may have lost some green space since the original drawing. <br /> <br />Ci¥il Engineer Linton stated they do not have a signed copy of the parks allocation yet but by the <br />lime o Flhe final agreement, they should have park dedication worked out. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns stated she would be curious as to the size of the pocket park and what they <br />l~ltmncd on doing there. <br /> <br />Civil Enginccr Linton stated there was not a lot of detail put into plans at the sketch plan phase. <br /> <br />(?ese #4: Sketch Plan Review for Town Center 8th Addition <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/February 10, 2005 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
