Consensus of the Committee was that no changes should be made to the current policy. <br /> COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />1) Waco Street Traffic Study <br /> <br /> City Engineer Olson stated that staff is in the process of testing the traffic trailer to verify that <br /> they receive accurate data. Once the testing is completed a study will be done in that location. <br /> <br /> 2) T.H. #47 and 142na Avenue Traffic Counts <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec noted that citizens have contacted the State and the local Commissioners in <br /> regards to a traffic light being placed at the intersection and know they are waiting for the City to <br /> complete the traffic counts. <br /> <br /> City Engineer Olson replied that he would check on the status and report back to the Committee. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he wants to make sure that the study on T.H. #47 and <br /> 142nd Avenue is completed in May or June. <br /> <br />3) Median Extension along C.R. #116 <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that if the median were extended along C.R. #116 it would create a real <br />problem with access into the Rivers Bend Apartment complex. <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson stated that he would contact the property owners of Rivers Bend Plaza to <br />see if they have completed their traffic study. <br /> <br />4) C.R. #116 Improvement Project between T.H. #47 and Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired as to the status of the project. <br /> <br />Staff will contact the County and update the Committee as to the status of the project. <br /> <br />5) Update on Pehlke Estates <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson stated that staff had met with Pehlkes and the issue will be placed on the <br />Council agenda on April 24, 2001. <br /> <br />6) North Star Corridor Station <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the City has received anything from MnDOT or any <br />other agency indicating what the anticipated cost to the City of Ramsey will be for a station, if <br />any. <br /> <br />Public Works Committee/April 17, 2001 <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
