Ramsey Town Center, plans to construct a Health & Fitness <br />Center as an integral component of their civic/community activity core. <br /> <br />The project will be located at Sunwood Drive and East Town Center Drive on an approximate three (3) acre <br />site in the Ramsey Town Center Development. (Map attached.) <br /> <br />There are a number of issues to consider as part of the project: · Relation between public and private operations of the facility. <br /> Programming of potential activities, both indoor and outdoor for facility <br /> ° Traffic and transit coordination of site within master plan area. <br /> <br />STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Architects will be selected based on their experience and their qualifications in similar design and master <br />planning projects. <br /> · Include resume of the firm's experience in the pi'ogramming, design and construction docu.ment <br /> preparation of large-scale, multi-programmed, nationally based fitness facilities. <br /> · Examples of similar fitness facility work experience. Include location(s), photographs, dates of <br /> completion, timelines spent, in design development and which staff members were assigned to <br /> projects. <br /> · Include resume of firm's experience in the master planning of significant sites along transit <br /> corridors, including Northstar Rail line. <br /> · Examples of Transit oriented.development. Include location(s), graphics, timelines spent in <br /> developing key transit related components within master plan and which staff members were <br /> assigned to the project. <br /> · Demonstrated ability to implement a well-rounded public involvement process including: <br /> 1. Public meetings / Open houses, <br /> 2. Handout materials. <br /> 3.
