As part of the comprehensive — plan process, neighboring governmental units and other government agencies and units _ of government have opportunity to review and comment on the final comprehensive plan. Periodically through the comprehensive plan development process, consultants and staff will meet with and provide information to these governmental units to obtain their comments. As Ramsey works with these other governmental units, it will be much easier — to secure positive comments after completion of the comprehensive plan process. — Description:Affected neighboring units of government will be invited to the initial public information meeting to listen and express their concerns regarding the Comprehensive Plan. When the initial draft plan is complete,copies will be circulated to those neighboring units of government,as well as watershed districts,Anoka County,and the school districts. APPROACH Their comments and concerns will be solicited so that, if possible, they can be addressed in the Comprehensive Plan. If necessary, a meeting will be held for all neighboring units of government to address their concerns. Description: The consultants will review and identify the key elements from the recently completed plans to incorporate into the Comprehensive Plan.
