COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT <br /> VICTORIA, MN <br /> - TKDA staff assisted in obtaining plan approval through the Metropolitan Council. The <br /> Plan Amendment represented an addendum to the 1998-2020 Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> — proposed a plan update to reflect a more current development pace, new development <br /> staging, and accompanying land uses. TKDA staff completed the 2002 Comprehensive <br /> Sanitary Sewer Plan Update, the 2002 Water System Plan Update and the Surface Water <br /> - Management Plan.TKDA also supported the City planning staff in their efforts on multiple <br /> focused planning documents including the AUAR, Southside Suburban Plan, and The <br /> "' Marsh Lake Road Corridor Alignment Study.TKDA staff used its knowledge of Metropolitan <br /> Council policies regarding growth, population, and households; density, sanitary sewers, <br /> and surface water management to facilitate Council approval of the Addendum aiding the <br /> — City in adopting a plan that reflected the City's vision. This Project <br /> included the preparation of an existing land use map, transportation map, functional road <br /> — classification map, 2000 traffic count map, 2020 traffic projection map, and future land PROJECT <br /> use map. TKDA researched and developed additional sections addressing housing, solar EXPERIENCE <br /> access,historic preservation,and drafted the sanitary sewer section of the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> TKDA also assisted the Township with the development of draft language addressing <br /> outdoor lighting, wind energy systems, antennas, amateur radio stations, and guidelines <br /> — for architectural standards in the highway commercial and neighborhood commercial <br /> ... zoning districts.
