Work Program ._.. <br /> Staff and Agency Meetings <br /> Meet with the City staff and representatives of outside agencies(e.g., county -- <br /> Department of Transportation)to obtain information,review draft plan elements, <br /> etc. <br /> Neighborhood and Interest Group Meetings <br /> The McCombs Frank Roos team would assist the City staff if they wished to <br /> meet with neighborhood or local interest groups by providing PowerPoint shows ., <br /> at various stages of the project. <br /> Web Site <br /> Provide written and graphic materials describing the project for the City to use on <br /> a page in its Web site. -^ <br /> Newsletters <br /> We encourage the City to publicize the planning process,participants and <br /> products in the Ramsey municipal newsletter. <br /> Newspaper Coverage <br /> We would assist the City staff with interviews with a reporter from the Ramsey <br /> local newspaper in order to publicize the planning process,participants and <br /> products. (We have used local newspapers successfully on most of our other <br /> projects. The Green Bay Herald received a national APA award for their <br /> coverage of that City's comprehensive plan.) _ <br /> 5.2 Participation Elements for Major Task 3.0— Plan Elements -- <br /> Meetings with the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee <br /> Facilitate five evening meetings to review and refine the draft plan elements. <br /> Community Forum #2 '— <br /> Facilitate Community Forum#2 to present and explain the draft plan and receive <br /> comments. <br /> Meetings with the Planning Commission and City Council <br /> Help the City staff brief the members of the Planning Commission and City <br /> Council the progress of the project, and solicit their comments. Participate in one <br /> public hearing with the Planning Commission and one with the City Council. <br /> The City Council should consider the updated plan, give it preliminary approval <br /> subject to Metropolitan Council review,and authorize the submittal of the plan to <br /> the Metropolitan Council.
