NAC ask_fi.P.TrFP' w,. RANISF.Y City's Park and Trail Plan is complete, Bolton& Menk will evaluate the current plan as it relates to connecting people with places. Destinations such as parks, schools,retail facilities, and transit facilities will be reviewed to ensure accessibility by on foot or by bicycle. An updated bicycle and trail map will be prepared to illustrate existing and future on and off-street bikeways. In addition, Bolton&Menk will utilize output from the Ramsey3 initiative to develop city policies and plans regarding bicycle and pedestrian systems and programs. Transit Requirements: Bolton&Menk will incorporate existing plans, such as the Anoka ^ County 2004 Transit System Plan and the latest plans of the Northstar Corridor ,.� Development Authority, and develop strategies to integrate the planned improvements with each other and other modes of transportation. Bolton& Menk will provide a description and mapping of existing and planned transit routes, park-n-ride facilities,the .. proposed Northstar Commuter Rail transit station. In addition, Bolton&Menk will ^ review the overall safety and efficiency of access to existing and planned transit facilities by motorized and non-motorized means. Roadway and trail connectivity with transit hubs will play an important role in maximizing the benefit of planned transit improvements. Special Traffic Situations Requirements: The City of Ramsey continues to be an active participant in finding and implementing solutions to regional transportation system needs. Bolton &Menk will summarize the City's responsibilities in preserving right-of-way for these improvements including the Northwest River Crossing corridor, TH 10 Interchanges, and TH 47 Subarea Study recommendations. The plan will summarize the anticipated right-of-way needs and describe the city policy and procedures to preserving ,.� them. Aviation Requirements: There are no public aviation facilities located in the City of Ramsey or in communities immediately adjacent to Ramsey.
