Case #5c: <br /> <br />Authorize the Sale of Outlot A Gatewood North Industrial Park No. 5, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the City is negotiating a land exchange agreement with Tiller <br />Corporation. The purpose of the new transaction is for the City to acquire necessary right of way <br />for the extension of 141st Avenue NW and to acquire an additional triangle parcel to add to the <br />City's Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 31 which Lot 1 the City acquired from the Makens <br />transaction. In order to complete this transaction the sale ordinance needs to be introduced and <br />adopted for the sale by the City of said Outlot A. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to introduce an ordinance <br />authorizing the sale of Outlot A, Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that the Personnel Committee met on April 10, 2001 and <br />discussed the following five cases: <br /> <br />1) Consider Ending Probationary Period of Patrol Officer <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended Council adopt Resolution #01-04-174 ending the <br />probationary period for Patrol Officer Jeff Katers and granting him the status of regular, full-time <br />employee, effective March 29, 2001. <br /> <br />2) Consider Ending Probationary Period of Receptionist/Secretary <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended Council adopt Resolution #01-04-175 ending the <br />probationary period for Receptionist/Secretary Lana Howell and granting her the status of <br />regular, full-time employee, effective April 2, 2001. <br /> <br />3) Consider Ending Probationary Period of Public Works Maintenance Worker <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended Council adopt Resolution #01-04-176 ending the <br />probationary period for Public Works Maintenance Worker Jerome Dube and granting him the <br />status of regular, full-time employee, effective April 2, 2001. <br /> <br />City Council/April 10, 2001 <br /> Page 13 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
