The centerline and edge white lines will be repainted. A "STOP" <br />warning will be painted on the trail near the intersection with Waco Street. The Committee <br />recommended that the following additional measures be implements: An all-way (3-way) stop is <br />placed at the intersection of Sunwood Drive (149th Avenue) and Waco; and The partial all-way <br />stop at 142"~ Avenue and Waco Street be converted to an all-way (3-way). <br /> <br />2) Request by Resident to Install a Three-Way Stop at the Intersection of 146th Avenue <br /> and Iodine Street ' <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that a stop sign be placed on Iodine Street and the warning signs <br />be posted on 146th avenue identifying the blind intersection. <br /> <br />3) Discussion of Area South of City Hall <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that an ordinance be introduced repealing the "due on sale" clause <br />regarding sewer and water assessments for properties having functioning, onsite sanitary <br />systems. The Committee also recommended giving staff direction to contact residents to solicit <br />input on the plan for the proposed area. <br /> <br />4) Consider Placement of 2001 Priority Street Lights <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that staff be directed to solicit proposals and install 12 priority <br />streetlights at the locations identified in the case presented to the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />5) Street Sweeping in Private Development <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that staff be directed to draft an ordinance requiring semi-annual <br />street sweeping of private streets and pavements which drain to either public waters or public <br />drainage systems. <br /> <br />City Council/June 26, 2001 <br /> Page 25 of 28 <br /> <br /> <br />
