6) Information on Street Maintenance Program <br /> <br />The Committee received a draft of an informational bulletin on the street maintenance. The <br />Committee also directed that staff redraft the section of City ordinance regarding its policy on the <br />financing of street maintenance for discussion at a future Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />7) Consider Petition to extend T.H. #47 Sound Wall <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that staff request in writing to MnDOT that it consider <br />participating in the funding of an extension of the screening wall. The Committee also directed <br />that this issue be placed on the July Public Works Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Public Works Committee for Cases 1-7. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #18: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />The Finance Committee met on June 26, 2001 and discussed the following items: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Receipt of the 2000 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Presentation <br />of the Management Report by the Firm of Malloy, Montague, Kanowski, Radosevich & <br />Co., P.A. <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommended Council accept the 2000 Comprehensive Annual <br />Financial Report and authorize the Finance Officer to submit to the State of Minnesota <br />Department of Revenue and other agencies, as required and to submit the report with application <br />for the Certificate to the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and <br />Canada. <br /> <br />2) Receive Proposal from Dynamic Information Systems to Provide Consulting Services to <br /> Develop a Technology Plan for the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommended accepting Mr. Barry Johnson's proposal to assist City <br />staff in developing a technology plan to implement the City's IT projects. <br /> <br />3) Authorize Master Trail Plan <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommended authorizing staff to solicit for quotes for a Master Trail <br />Plan. <br /> <br />City Council/June 26, 2001 <br /> Page 26 of 28 <br /> <br /> <br />
