The action is <br />contingent upon the property owner providing proper documentation of well abandonment. <br /> <br />3) Consider Change Order No. 1 for Improvement Project #99-51 Alpine Drive <br /> Extension <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that the City Attorney advise the City Council of the <br />responsibility of the consulting engineer in these oversights. Additionally, it was recommended <br />that the consulting firm provide a letter of explanation with regard to these overages. <br /> <br />4) Discussion of Extending Median on County Road #116 east of T.H. #47 <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that the Commissioner of Transportation conduct a study to <br />determine the proper speed limit of County Road #116 east of T.H. #47. the Committee also <br />recommended that the scope of the work for the County Road #116 Corridor Study also include a <br />task to review and make a recommendation as to the access into the commercial strip malls <br />adjacent to the C.R. #116 and T.H. #47 intersection. <br /> <br />5) Consider Initiating Action on the Vacating of Certain Streets <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that the public hearing on the vacation of the following street <br />segments be scheduled: Juniper Ridge Drive, east of Salish Street NW and south of 153rd <br />Avenue; 150th Avenue NW, west of Xkimo Street NW; and 152"a Avenue NW, west of Salish <br />Street NW. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman,. seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, <br />Anderson, and Kurak.
