2) Approve Elmcrest Park's Concept Plan <br /> <br />The Finance Committee requested that staff find out if the grant has a sunset clause and what <br />does the City have to do to keep this grant. This information needs to be brought back to <br />Council. They directed staff to speed up the access discussions also. It was also directed that <br />staff break down a timeline for spending the $635,500. <br /> <br />3) Receive and Review Telephone System Quotes; Select Telephone System Proposal <br /> <br />This item was tabled to the next agenda. <br />Councilmember Hendriksen on this issue. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to contact/consult with <br /> <br />4) Accept Refuse/Recycling Hauler; Award Quote for Municipal Site Service <br /> <br />The Committee recommended that the Council accept the solid waste removal and recycling <br />service quote from Ace Solid Waste and recommend approval of the quote for a one-year <br />contract for refuse and recycling service for municipal sites, beginning August 1, 2001. <br /> <br />5) Approve Management Training for City of Ramsey Supervisory Personnel <br /> <br />This item was tabled to the next agenda. <br /> <br />6) Tax Increment Inter-Fund Loans <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution #01-07-255A approving Interfund loans on various projects throughout the <br />City with the sole intention of being reimbursed with Tax Increment. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: Report from the Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on July 24, 2001 and discussed the following cases: <br /> <br />1) Consider Ending Probationary Period of Crime Prevention Specialist <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that Chandra Kreyer assumed the position of Crime <br />Prevention Specialist on January 24, 2001, and her six-month probationary period date ended <br />July 24, 2001. Her performance has been reviewed by Sergeant Jim Way and documented as <br />satisfactory.
