City Attorney Goodrich replied that the land is all wetland. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to table action. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Consider Adoption of Sale Ordinance to Permit Sale of Land to Twinkle <br /> Twinkle, LLC <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that at a previous meeting, the Council authorized purchasing <br />some 51 acres of land from Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. (WMMI). Also at a previous <br />meeting, the Council authorized entering into a TIF Agreement with Twinkle Twinkle, LLC <br />(Star Exhibits and Environments). The TIF Agreement contemplates conveying to Twinkle <br />Twinkle, LLC an approximate 14-acre tract of land acquired from WMMI. A sale of the land <br />requires approval by ordinance. The ordinance was introduced by the Council on November 13, <br />2001. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Sale <br />Ordinance #01-26 permitting the sale of an approximate 14 acres tract of City owned land to <br />Twinkle Twinkle, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company; said land as legally described in <br />the sale Ordinance. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Councilmember Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #7: Report from Public Works Committee <br /> <br />The Public Works Committee met on Monday, November 20, 2001, and discussed the following <br />cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Update on Potential Projects South of City Hall <br />The Public Works Committee directed staff to prepare three separate feasibility studies <br />for the respective improvements. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Report from Highway #10 Corridor Consultant <br />Discussion was held regarding the vision of Highway # 10 in the future. <br /> <br />City Council/November 27, 2001 <br /> Page 16 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
