Case #9: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />The Finance Committee met on November 27, 2001 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Introduce Ordinance Amending Chapter 3 and Repealing and Replacing Section <br />3.40 Entitled "City Funds" <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council introduce an ordinance <br />amending Chapter 3 and Repealing and Replacing Section 3.40 Entitled "City Funds". <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Authorize Play Equipment Replacement for River's Bend Park <br />Item was tabled. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />City of Anoka Swimming Pool Funding Request <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the <br />funding agreement for the Anoka Swimming pool. <br /> <br />City Council enter into a two-year <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br />(Wendells) <br /> <br />Adoption of Sale Ordinance to Convey Land to Lawrence T. Cody <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that on November 13, 2001, the Council introduced a Sale <br />Ordinance to convey proposed Outlot A of the new Sunfish Business Park plat to Lawrence T. <br />Cody in exchange for various other commitments, all as defined in the Real Estate Exchange <br />Agreement also approved on November 13, 2001. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to adopt Ordinance #01z25 <br />Authorizing the conveyance of the property legally described in Exhibit A, which property when <br />platted will become Outlot A, Sunfish Business Park. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Councilmember Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />City Council/November 27, 2001 <br /> Page 18 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
