Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-28-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING IN A CONTRACT WITH S&P <br />CONSTRUCTION OF ST. PAUL, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,877, FOR REPAIRS <br />TO FIRE STATION No. 1 AND THE REPLACEMENT OF THE MAIN FRONT DOOR. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Station No. 1 sustained damage on February 21, 2005 and a claim <br />has been filed with the City's insurer LMC-IT; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the main front door is recommended to be replaced with a model that allows <br />proper locking and exiting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that repairs in the amount of $29,758.75 are to be <br />funded from the city's insurance fund and the replacement of the main front door in the amount <br />of $8119 is to be funded from the equipment replacement fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes to enter into a contract with S&P <br />Construction of St. Paul, Inc. in the amount of $37,877 for repairs of damage sustained <br />on February 21, 2005 and the replacement of the main front door. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in-favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution ,,vas declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 28th day of June 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />-400- <br /> <br /> <br />
