Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR <br /> THE UTILITIES LEAD PERSON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John Nelson began working as the City's Utilities Lead Person on <br />January 12, 2005 and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Nelson has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 12, 2005 meeting agreed <br />with staff's recommendation to end the probationary period for John Nelson, effective <br />July 12, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLYED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for John Nelson, effective <br /> July 12, 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council the 12th day of July 2005. <br /> <br />-348- <br /> <br />G2AdministrationUtumanResources\Performance Evaluations\Ending Probation\Nelson 7-12-05.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
