Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR <br /> THE PUBLIC WORKS MECHANIC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nick Maras began working for the City on December 29, 2005 and <br />was Subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Maras has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 12, 2005 meeting agreed <br />with staff's recommendation to end the probationary period for Nick Maras effective <br />June 29, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW, THIMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Nick Maras effective <br />June 29, 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duty passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council the 12th day of July 2005. <br /> <br />-352- <br /> <br />O:~dministrationkHumanResources~Per£ormance Evaluations~Ending ProbationhMaras 07-12-05.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
