le) Authorized leave time; and <br />fl Authorized compensatoiytime off <br />9,2 Nothing contained in this of any other ARTICLE shall be intepieted to be a guarantee <br />of a minimum or maximuni nurnber of hours the Employer may assign Employees. <br />9.3 Employees are scheduled to work over 2080 hours during the year, Beoause ofthis, the <br />employee will earn "Kelly Time" at the rate of 4houts per pay period; Employees will <br />not be allowed to take any time offihat they have not yet earned, other than the last pay <br />period of the year Employees will be able to bank up to a total of 48 bouts, Employees <br />are expected to manage their own time off and be responsible for not going over the <br />cap. <br />All accrued Kelly Time and projected earned Kelly Time, will need. to b enteied on <br />the duty Schedule by December 1st or it will be assigned by Ramsey Police <br />Adrnini8tration <br />ARTICLE 10: OVERTIME <br />10.1 Employees will be compensated at one and one-half(i %Z) times the Employee's regular <br />base pay jate for hours workeci in excess of the Employee's regularly scheduled shim. <br />Changes of shifts do not qualify an Employee for overtime under this ARTICLE. <br />10,2 Overtime will be distributed as equally as practicable, <br />103 Overtime offerecl and refused by Employees will, for record purposes under ARTICLE <br />102, be considered as unpaid overtime worked, <br />} <br />10,E For the purpose of computing overtime compensation, ovatime hours worked shall not <br />be pyramided, compounded of paid twice for the same hoi.irs worked. <br />105 Overtime will be calculated td the nearest fifteen (15) ininutes. <br />10.6 Employees have the obligation to woik overtime or call backs if requested by the <br />Employer unless unusual oiroutnstanees prevent the Employees from so working, <br />107 Employees will be compensated at one and one4ialf(l /2) times the Employee's regular <br />base day rate for working beyond their regular shift. <br />108 For the purposes of calculating overtime, an ElvIPLOYEE using paid holidays, vacation <br />leave, sick leave, or compensatory time off is' considered to be woiking. <br />109 Employees may effect to take compensatory time off in lieu of receiving overtime <br />compensation except for the following; l.) Court time will be paid as overtime, 2) <br />Ho1dovers will be paid as overtime, 3) Early shift status over two hours to cover the <br />9 <br />
